Rustam’s father served as a police officer but sadly passed away in 2017, leaving Rustam behind at the tender age of 2. Although his mother is alive, she remarried and relocated to Kohistan district in Kapisa province, leaving Rustam under the care of his uncle. However, his uncle realized that he could no longer provide the necessary support and decided to bring Rustam to FHCO on February 2, 2021.

Despite the challenges he has faced, Rustam maintains a positive outlook on life. His favorite dish is beans and rice, a comforting and nutritious combination. The sweet and juicy mango is his preferred fruit, and he finds great joy in watching and playing cricket, with Rashid Khan being his favorite cricketer.

Currently in 3rd grade, Rustam has a passion for serving others. His aspiration is to become a doctor, driven by a deep desire to help those in need and make a positive impact on their lives. By pursuing a career in medicine, Rustam hopes to bring healing and support to his community.

At FHCO, Rustam is provided with a nurturing and supportive environment that enables him to pursue his dreams. With access to education, mentorship, and resources, he is being equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill his ambition of becoming a doctor. Through Future Hope Charity Organization, it is possible to sponsor a child to receive basic educational tutoring so they are able to enter the state sponsored school system. Once in the program, FHCO helps the child attend school by providing them with food, clothing, stationery and necessary hygiene supplies.
